Erasmus Mensah Ackon
- Founder & CEO of Duapa Werkspace, Takoradi - Ghana
Erasmus Mensah Ackon is the founder and CEO of Duapa Werkspace, a Skills Development, and Entrepreneurship Hub located in the western part of Ghana, Takoradi. Erasmus has 13 years of experience in supporting MSMEs in the areas of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
His flagship product, SikaSoft (Customized Core Banking and Accounting System) is used by 30 non-Bank financial institutions (Microfinance, Micro Credit, and Credit Unions).
With the passion to help reduce high youth unemployment, Erasmus established Duapa Werkspace in 2020 to provide skills development and entrepreneurship training to assist the youth to acquire employable or entrepreneurial skills.
Erasmus is also the project lead for Duapa Werkspace on the SNV GrEEn Incubation project and has supervised the project to successfully incubate 22 entrepreneurs in the green space
